Actor Will Smith has spoken for the first time and apologised immediately to Chris Rock after the slap at the Oscars.
In a new video released on social media, Mr Smith said he’s been doing a lot of thinking and that his behaviour was once unacceptable.
“I will say to you Chris, I apologise to you, my behaviour was unacceptable, and I’m here whenever you’re geared up to talk,” Mr Smith said.
“There’s no part of me that thinks that’s the optimal way to handle a feeling of disrespect or insults.”
