Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Corporation, said on Twitter that delivery of the Tesla Semi truck to customers will begin this year. Not only that, but the company will offer a long-range version, which is expected to be able to traverse more than 800 kilometers in a single charge cycle, and he said the Tesla Cybertruck will hit the market in 2023.

“We will start delivering the Tesla Semi truck this year, with an operating range of 800 km, [delivery starts] of the Cybertruck next year,” Elon said.
The launch of the Semi in a matter of months is a positive surprise, as we have heard in previous reports that the big tow truck (Class 8) will be delayed until 2023. However, the announcement leaves us with many unanswered questions about the Semi.
We don't know the price, and whether it will fall within the original expected price, $180,000 for the 800-kilometre version, with battery packs (batteries) with 4,680 cylindrical cells or the older 2,170 cylindrical cells, other specs, where it will be produced and how much it will be produced.
Prototypes of a modified Tesla Semi have been seen undergoing tests, or transporting other Tesla equipment, such as pre-fabricated Superchargers.
According to previous reports, the test trucks were produced at a facility near Tesla's first giant factory (Gigafactory 1) in Nevada, USA. However, the list of Tesla production sites and the models produced there shows that the Tesla Semi is not intended for any production site, and is still "in development".
