OpenAI, the developer of ChatGPT, has announced the launch of the paid and advanced version of its smart chatbot, through a new service it offers, ChatGPT Plus, which has a monthly value of about $20.
The service will initially be available to users in the United States of America, to be available later in several other countries.
According to the company, the ChatGPT Plus bot offers premium features that are not available to users of the free version, namely:
- The ability to use ChatGPT Plus at any time, especially during peak times when it is usually not possible to use the program.
- Faster response time.
- Priority access to more new features and improvements.
The launch of the new service will begin gradually, as the ChatGPT Plus service will not be available for registration directly, but those wishing to obtain the new version must register in the waiting list, and the company will later send invitations to them to subscribe, and then later the subscription will be opened to all those wishing.
OpenAI confirmed that its free service will not stop and will remain available to all users, and stated that the free service, which received great interaction, helps it learn more about the strengths and weaknesses of ChatGPT in order to develop and improve it, as it said that it has received millions of suggestions about improving the service.
In addition, OpenAI announced that it plans to release the ChatGPT API, which is a set of programming interfaces that help developers use ChatGPT services to develop their own applications.
She said she is considering providing her service at lower prices in the future and through corporate plans.
OpenAI is also preparing to launch the fourth version of its ChatGPT-4 program this year, which is expected to be faster, more accurate, and better understand user questions.
Or about Microsoft, recent reports have stated that Microsoft intends to integrate ChatGPT-4 into its famous Bing search engine, so that users will see search results from ChatGPT next to the usual search results list.
Microsoft has made huge investments amounting to $10 billion in OpenAI in order to take advantage of the capabilities of ChatGPT services to support its Bing search engine to get more competition with the most widely used and popular Google engine that dominates the search market.
For its part, Google is working on preparing its own version of Sparrow to compete with ChatGPT, which will work better, and it is also expected to be integrated into the search engine results.
