Soon, American singer Britney Spears will release a duet with Elton John, in her first new work in 6 years and after her 13-year guardianship ended last year.

Britney Spears was promoting "Hold Me Closer", a remake of Elton John's hit "Tiny Dancer" released in 1971.

Britney Spears, 40, tweeted: "My first song in six years. It's really great to be singing with one of the most classic men of our time... SO HAPPY.... SO MUCH FOR ME!!!"

Last November, the legal guardianship of Britney Spears and her financial affairs for a long period of 13 years ended.
