The C-side version of the Mini Convertible has been revealed, which is a limited production version, but it has not been determined how much quantities will be produced or if it will be produced for a specific period of time. Only two color options will be available, white and blue only.
In addition, 18-inch wheels will be available in two-tone paint with a 7-spoke design. Badges will also appear on the front wheel arches, along with the white line that runs horizontally on the upper side.
The cabin, in turn, contains C-side writing on the steering wheel and on the door sills to provide the required distinction. The number 30 appears on the car key, and the goal is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the launch of the first convertible from MINI. Mechanically, the C-Side version contains a 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 2.0 liters and is connected to a turbocharger, which enables it to produce 176 horsepower, which enables the maneuver to be completed from 0-100 km / h in 7.2 seconds.
The canvas roof of the car can be opened or closed while driving at a speed not exceeding 30 km/h and is able to provide adequate thermal insulation.
Mini, in turn, is preparing to launch a whole new generation of its models, noting that it will be available with the option of a fully exposed body, and the engine options will be multiple, including gasoline and diesel, as well as a fully electric motor.
A completely new platform will be adopted for the electric option for the new generation of the Convertible Mini Cooper, and the range is expected to range between 322 km for the standard option and 402 km for the higher option. It is expected that the new generation with the hatchback option will be launched in 2023, while the convertible version will be available in 2025.
