A few months ago, Volkswagen unveiled the new generation of the Amarok light-duty pickup truck, and tuning companies got their hands on it and offered their products from this light-duty truck for the Ford Ranger. The level of equipment of the PanAmericana is geared towards lovers of wild adventures, but for those who want more, they can see what the modification companies offer, and they have an example here from the German company Delta 4x4 that specializes in modifying cars for off-road, as it offers a better version of the light truck. The designs published by the company provide a good look at the "beast" that the company is working on, and its name is Beast.
Suspension is, of course, one of the first things tuning companies work on, whether lowering it to make the car sportier or raising it to give it a rougher, more aggressive feel. Here, the suspension height has been increased by 15 centimeters compared to the standard model to enhance its all-terrain capabilities. Delta 4×4 also plans to fit rims wrapped in 305/70 R18 or 35×12.5 R20 tires. It has also increased the size of the wheel arches and fender flares to accommodate the larger diameter wheels and tires.
There is a strip of LED spotlights from PIAA on the roof for better lighting, in addition to another strip on the guard rails in the front, and a tow winch from Horntools. Modifications are completed with a roof-mounted cargo and equipment loading basket, Delta 4x4 badging front and rear, and red Beast model name badges on either side of the loading bay.
The modification company did not disclose the technical specifications, but the preliminary designs show that the modified car will be powered by a V6 engine, judging by the V6 logo on the grille. The car is powered by a V6 turbodiesel engine with an air charger, which is connected to a ten-speed automatic gearbox, the same as in the global Ford Ranger, which is available with 238 horsepower or 247 horsepower, depending on specifications.
